   Hullo everyone,

   I try to look but could not notice whatsoever threads with a answer to my problem. I just bought a blackberry bold from a company and I am trying to setup my email account on it. Every time I got in the e-mail setup wizard, it proceed asking me an enterprise activation because it used to be on a BES. I thought the trouble must exist the IT policy only when I become check on the BB it is non displaying anything. I was wondering if anyone had a magic flim-flam for my problem.

   Get to the settings (wrench icon) and go down to Security Options, click it and get down to Security WIpe. This volition erase the blackberry completely and and IT configurations. so when it resets y'all can use it normally. make sure to support offset as yous will loose ALL information on the blackberry.

   A security wipe will not remove an Information technology policy... a factory reset is required for that.

   To the OP, do you accept a BlackBerry data plan? Yous will demand i to set up up personal e-mail.

   I only try and it did not work. When I got to the e-mail accounts setup, it keep request me for an account activation ( to activate your enterprise business relationship enter details provided by your system admin in the fields below). I did not have a information plan, I was also wondering if I could use my email when over wifi.

    You should confirm if the Email Setup is installed on the device via application loader. As a BES Admin, I remove the e-mail setup when installing and configuring any bb device as per sop.

    I have ran into this issue earlier, without it beingness installed it will default to BES e-mail setup only.

    Also, if you don't come across the blackberry logo adjacent to the 4G you lot won't be able to use any of the blackberry services, electronic mail, BBM etc. That is your signal that you have a BIS activated plan. It will bear witness also next to the Wi-fi bespeak if yous are connected.
